An expert in both extentions and color, Joey Carrera prides himself on his ability to assess the exact number of pieces and colors needed to create a seamless blend for each of his clients. Having discovered his fascination for color as a young child, Joey went on to attend the renowned Vidal Sasson Academy. After graduating in 2004, he gained experience while perfecting his technique under top professionals in the industry including Kiara Bailey, Edward Tricomi and Nancy Braun.

Now a colorist at the prestigious Sally Hershberger Los Angeles Salon, Joey looks to untouched pure hair with natural highlights and beautiful fullness for inspiration. He has been recognized as a Top 10 Extentionist by BE Magazine, has been featured in the Los Angeles Times and has worked on shows for designers such as Rag & Bone, Lacoste and Margaret Howell. He counts celebrities including Jessica Lowndes, Mischa Barton, Lydia Hearst, Meg Chambers Steedle and Nina Lisandrello as clients.
